When I decided to become vegan, I promised myself that I would not eat anything that has a mother or a face. This is not just a dietary choice. It was a decision based on empathy, awareness, and a desire to live more gently toward this world and life. People often ask me if I find it difficult. I don’t find it difficult at all; on the contrary, I feel much better.
But that’s not what I want to write about today. Today, I want to write about traveling as a vegan.

Traveling as a Vegan Is Easier Than You Think
During my fairly frequent travels, I have seen firsthand that being vegan is not a limitation, but rather a deeper connection to the world around me. From tropical beach towns to busy European capitals, vegan options are everywhere. We just need to be willing to explore a little.
This led me to VG Pâtisserie in Paris.

VG Pâtisserie – Paris’ First Vegan Pastry
You can’t leave Paris without trying a croissant. After a quick internet search, I found VG Pâtisserie.
This is no ordinary pastry. It’s a completely vegan pastry shop. Yes, it’s a French pastry shop. That delicate, flaky, buttery croissant has been reimagined without any animal products.

What will you find inside?
Inside the shop, the pastry display case is filled with classic French desserts. Fluffy vegan croissants, elegant fruit tarts, macarons, and mini cakes. And of course, gluten-free options.

Why is it important?
Places like VG Pâtisserie show us that we don’t have to harm animals to enjoy the finer things in life. You can travel while staying true to your values, eat like the locals, and learn about the culture.
